Termite Report
A termite clearance report is required but termite inspections rarely exceed $150. If a seller is not willing to correct existing termite damage, then the home may not be worth your time anyway.
Appraisal
An appraisal is required but VA appraisers are licensed and certified just like appraisers for FHA and Conventional loans.
